"...Back in the early 80's we were engaged in a
different venture providing laboratory animals for
research. Most of our customers were working in
rarified circumstances specializing in specific
aspects demonstrated by certain animals
physiology's..."
A short
time later we diversified further by demand and set
up a program for schools in the late 80's. Our
local health department was up against some chronic
occurrences of imbedded pest insects in some school
settings for about fourteen years running. This is
a long time to be plagued by a pest index without
satisfactory results. But this situation is pretty
common and it sustains a re-treatment scenario for
pest problems in human habitation and really the
very capacity of insect resistance to certain
organic chemical pesticides is demonstrably
profound. You can actually bank on it. Comparable
conditions were experienced raising laboratory
animals and so we found solutions back then that
would not contaminate our product. What was
happening in the schools was manageable and we
applied our experience in our laboratory animal
environmental protocols to this problem, to end the
pest's siege.
It was
possible then back in late 80's, as it is now
today, to make a total educational complex, such as
a state wide school system and make it dramatically
free of pesticides, while effectively controlling
the pest index. This does not bode well for people
who have budgets supplied by collecting money from
pesticide use. This is a significant obstacle to
this possibility being a fact. It really is the
only obstacle, actually at this time unfortunately.
This is not an evolutionary problem that will
require further study. It could happen over night.
Everything is in place. The products are already
made.
For
Schools our winning combinations are collated into
an Academy Biotool-Kit™. This kit has changed
over the years as different solutions have varied,
if you want to keep kids from being exposed to
pesticides in these institutions you can, we know
how to do it and we can show what to
do.
Our IPM program for schools is the first of its
kind in the country. It held fast to the underlying
principles of the founders of the integrated pest
management concept, by placing pesticide use in a
subordinate position. The Academy Biotool-Kit was
already tried and true based on its inheritance
from our laboratory animal environmental production
protocols, executed years previous.
